Group Classes at Glute Studio Elk Grove CA

Your strongest self, one coach-led class at a time

The most supportive way to lift heavier, sculpt smarter, and feel amazing

If you like the idea of training in a group but still want coaching that pays attention to detail, welcome to your new favorite hour. Group Classes at Glute Studio blend the energy of a small community with the structure of a professional training plan. We lead with the glutes because strong glutes make everything else better: posture, power, comfort, and confidence. Our group format is built around that idea, pairing glute-focused strength work with full-body movement and smart conditioning so you get results you can see and feel.

Below is the full picture of how we run class, how we progress your training, and how we keep you improving week after week. This is not random circuits. It is targeted work using our signature G.L.U.T.E. Method, coached by people who care about your form as much as your finish time.

What makes our classes different in Elk Grove CA

Glute-first, body-wide results

Classes emphasize hip hinge, squat, and single-leg patterns to wake up and grow your glutes while balancing strength across your whole body. This approach shapes your lower body and supports your knees, low back, and posture.

A method, not a mash-up
Every class follows the G.L.U.T.E. Method framework: targeted activation, strength-based lower-body training, functional full-body movement, and recovery support. It is science-informed and it works.
Expert coaches inside a supportive room
You get cues, adjustments, and options on every station. You also get the lift that only a good group can give.
A studio designed for glutes and results
We curated equipment specifically for lower-body development, then layered in tools for conditioning and core. You will notice the difference the first time you hip thrust on the right setup.
Recovery and accountability are built in
From infrared sauna and compression to optional body scans, we make it easy to track progress and feel good while you do the work.

How a typical class flows

Arrival and orientation
You check in, meet your coach, and skim the whiteboard for the day’s focus. We introduce the movement theme in plain English. If you are new, we give you a quick tour of the stations so you feel comfortable before the timer starts.
Activation and warm-up (8–10 minutes)
We start by turning on the muscles we want you to use most. Expect mini-band abductions, glute bridge holds, heel-elevated goblet squat grooves, tempo hinges, and core bracing drills. The goal is to prime your hips and core so your sets land where they should. This step is part of the G.L.U.T.E. Method and it pays off when the weights get heavier.
Strength Block A (15–18 minutes)
This is the main lift of the day. Depending on the class, it may be a barbell or machine hip thrust, a Romanian deadlift, a box squat, or a split-squat variation. We coach depth, foot pressure, and lockout. You will usually work in moderate sets of 5–10 reps with controlled tempo, resting enough to keep quality high. Our coaches give you a target range and help you choose a load that feels challenging but clean.
Strength Block B (12–15 minutes)
We pair the primary lift with a complementary pattern. Think deep goblet squats after hip thrusts, or step-ups after RDLs. You might see a 3-second lower phase on squats, or pauses at the top of a thrust to teach you to own the position. The goal here is balanced legs and stronger glutes from every angle. The sequence is intentional, never guesswork.
Accessory and core circuit (8–10 minutes)
Here’s where we bring in the detail work: cable kickbacks with alignment cues, Copenhagen planks for adductors, anti-rotation presses for a steadier trunk, or lateral band walks done the right way. Reps run higher, rests are shorter, and the burn is very real. This pumps blood where we want growth while protecting your joints.
Short conditioning finisher (5–7 minutes)
We use tools that play nicely with your hips and knees: sled pushes, step-ups, bike sprints, or rower intervals. Nothing excessive. The finisher raises your heart rate, supports fat loss, and builds work capacity without wrecking recovery.
Cool-down and notes (3–5 minutes)
We finish with breath work, light mobility, and quick coaching notes for next time. If a variation felt perfect, we mark it. If you struggled to feel your glutes, we troubleshoot and assign a tiny “primer” for your next visit. This is how you build momentum.

The equipment edge

There is a big difference between using the right tool and “making it work.” We invested in premium lower-body machines, hip thrust setups, and glute-specific attachments so you can load safely, find your range, and actually hit the muscles you are targeting. Our space is intentionally designed for glute and lower-body development and it shows in your results.

Conditioning that respects strength

We use conditioning to support your goals, not sabotage them. You will move hard for short bursts on tools that are joint-friendly. You will never be punished with mile-long runs after heavy squats. We keep intensity high, duration tight, and technique clean. That is the balance that lets you train often and feel good doing it.

Progress you can measure

If you like numbers, we have them. If you prefer photos or how-your-jeans-fit, that works too. Your membership can include monthly 3D body scans to track changes in shape and posture, and we always track performance: more reps at the same weight, or the same reps with a slightly heavier load. Both count. The mix of data and coaching keeps you accountable and excited to show up.

Recovery that keeps you consistent

We believe results stick when recovery is part of the plan. After class, you can layer in services like infrared sauna or compression therapy to reduce soreness and help you bounce back for the next session. Recovery is not an extra. It is part of how we help you progress without feeling beat up.

Who our classes are perfect for

If you need more customization, we also offer semi-private and 1-on-1 coaching under the same roof. It is easy to move between formats as your goals evolve.
  • You want a friendly push and professional eyes on your form.
  • You want your glutes to finally “switch on” so squats and hinges feel strong and safe.
  • You like community, music, and a coach who knows your name.
  • You are busy and prefer to show up, get coached, and go.

Why this works

It works because it is simple, consistent, and coached. We train the biggest engine in your body and we train it often. We do enough full-body work to drive balance and shape. We add conditioning that helps, not hurts. We recover on purpose. We measure progress so you see the payoff. And we do it together, which makes everything more enjoyable and a lot more sustainable. This is the difference between “sweaty and tired” and “fit and strong.” It is also the difference between doing a workout and following a method.
